The Origin of Crispy Coop

For fans of the locally famous Uncle Nick’s Greek Fried Chicken, you will love the re-imagined concept know as The Crispy Coop. Our crispy fried chicken joint has moved up the street and is now serving eats under a new name!

Drew Clearly opened Uncle Nick’s in 2015 out of Youngstown for five years. After the restaurant started to outgrow its small space, Clearly knew it was time for a change.

Just a few blocks away, customers can now enjoy more space, dine-in seating, and even unique menu options, all while serving the same loyal neighbors.

The fried chicken and Texas Potatoes are carryovers from the Uncle Nick’s menu, but everything else is new fare, including two new flavor options: Nashville Hot and Tennessee Mild. The Crispy Coop also serves delicious sides including greens, mac & cheese, coleslaw and corn bread, all made in-house.

Grab it for lunch in a combo or order catering for your next game day! Come visit us at 1717 Northwest Blvd open 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. in Grandview to taste what everyone’s been talking about!
