Nashville Hot Chicken

As the name suggests, Nashville hot chicken packs a major punch. Our crispy chicken gets a hefty dose of spice thanks to hot sauce and cayenne in the coating as well as a spicy sauce drizzled over the top. It can be served by itself, as a chicken dinner, or our famous chicken sandwich – a boneless chicken breast on white bread topped with pickles, slaw and served with a choice of side to balance out the heat.

The dish is said to have originated in the 1930’s at Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack in Nashville, though many restaurants, including The Crispy Coop have adopted their own unique takes on the recipe.
